Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are set to help you enjoy every Pilates class and to make all

classes a safe place to practice. Booking your classes and / or private classes (face to face

or virtual) with Pilates with Louise is in agreement with the Terms and Conditions set out

below.

Bookings are based on term time only classes. During the holiday periods I run a reduced

timetable of ‘pay as you go’ classes.

Please understand I am a new small business trying to be as accommodating as I can.

Class Bookings

Pilates courses are scheduled and sold on a ’term basis’, meaning that you book a particular

class. (e.g, Tuesday 9am) for the full length of the term. The assumption is that you will

attend the same class each week. Payment for each course must be made by the booking

deadline to reserve your place. All bookings are non-refundable. Deadlines will be clearly

posted on all WhatsApp group chats. If this isn’t the best mode of communication, please let

me know.

Missed Classes

I want to try to be as "flexible" as possible (good use of words!) to my clients in offering if you

miss a class. Please note that catch-up classes are not guaranteed, but this is an added

extra service that I’d like to be able to offer to my clients (where possible). Class swapping

is a special service which I want to try to provide but aren’t owed to our clients.

Class Swapping

The term is booked in advance; therefore, all sessions are your responsibility to attend,

however, I do understand that things crop up, life happens! So, if you need to swap that

week due to a last-minute situation you can potentially attend another one of the classes if

that works for you and subject to availability and prior booking via the website, booking a

free ‘class swap’ ticket for your rescheduled catch up class.

I do understand that there will be times, when due to unexpected illness or events beyond

your control, that it is not possible to give 48 hours’ notice of an absence. Unfortunately, in

this case I cannot offer a class swap.

Pre-arranged appointments

If you wish to book for a block of classes but you know you have pre-arranged

appointments/holidays that clash with the session time, and you have more than 2 of these

in the block, you must book in as a Drop-In client for that block.

If you only need to miss a maximum of 2 sessions, then I am happy to still book you onto the

classes at the regular price of £10 per session.

Drop Ins

If you are a complete beginner to Pilates you may wish to complete a 45 minute introductory

session and assessment, usually run at your home. This is a cost of £15 and can either be

paid by cash or by BACS.

The purpose of undertaking an introductory 1-1 session is that the blocks of classes tend to

develop in content and difficultly as the weeks progress, and there for it is essential that

Drop In clients have some basic understanding of the core principles of the exercises and

the type of language used before turning up.

Drop In clients pay £12.50 per class either paid by cash or BACS and must be booked 24

hour hours in advance.

Whole Class Cancellation

If I have to cancel a class due to sickness or force majeure, I will issue you a credit for the

next block of classes. A refund will not be available.

Studio Good Practice

All clients in class or a studio setting are responsible and liable for the safe storage and

security of their belongings.

Please ensure that you store your belongings so that they can not cause injury or accident to

anyone participating in the class including the instructor. If you wear glasses and take them

off – they must be stored appropriately and not left on the floor.

Please wear comfortable clothing you feel happy moving in, leggings, tracksuit bottoms are

fine. No jeans or excessive jewellery.
